Yes, I was going to suggest upgrading GNU make. I just built AOLserver
3.5 on Solaris 2.6 using:

GNU Make version 3.78.1, by Richard Stallman and Roland McGrath.
    Built for sparc-sun-solaris2.6

It normally doesn't. I think there was a bug in GNU make 3.76 ... which
is why 3.78 and 3.80 came out right after.

No trouble. You're very welcome.

Ah, good luck. Right now, the Informix driver for AOLserver is in
limbo. I believe Kevin has a copy of a (working?) driver, and I'm
trying to get a copy from him to check into SourceForge.

I personally really like Informix and it's a pity that I haven't worked
with Informix on a daily basis since 1995 -- today, I only get to use
mainly Oracle and occasionally Sybase -- but I'd love to tinker around
with it again. Is there a free dev.-only license for Informix on Linux?
