Found: somehow if I say: CC=gcc ; export CC and run ./configure my CC will stay cc not gcc. So this is the deal. As lon as I am trying to go with cc from Sun aolserver does not build. Developers seems are using gcc instead of cc , or maybe nobody even tried to run with Sun's compiler.
I will try to use gcc- but very starnge is that ./configure does not work okay. Everytime the Makefile.global has specific information about cc not gcc - Stefan
