They didn't buy the company (http://www.orionserver.com/), they just paid them a shitload of money to allow them to include it with Oracle and rebrand it. My company has the same deal with them, but that's not due to millions, simply the fact that we (or rather one Java guru in our company) has helped out so much debugging it. If you are wondering why they haven't released any new versions/patches in a while, that is because 1) they are taking a holiday on their Oracle millions and 2) it is just that damn good! Although I suspect some changes will be comming to make good use of Java 1.4's non-blocking I/O. (which Tcl has had for years, ofcourse!)
