While http://www.gnuplot.info/ indicates the latest release being 3.7.3
from 20 Dec 2002, if you check the SourceForge site there's a file
release for 3.8j.0 on 4 Aug 2003 -- only a few weeks ago.

Are your comments about GNUplot being buggy based on review of the 3.8
series or the 3.7.3 version?
