Roberto,

Thank you for your reply.

Yes, it is Red Hat Linux 9.0. No problem.

Here is what I did:

I changed the following line in nspostgres.h

#include "libpq-fe.h"

to

#include "/usr/local/pgsql/include/libpq-fe.h"

This worked.

I then changed nsd.tcl to reflect the use of postgres.

When I started aolserver, I got the following error:

[20/Sep/2003:11:51:31][11450.1075062368][-main-] Notice: modload: loading
'/usr/local2/aolserver/bin/nspostgres.so'
[20/Sep/2003:11:51:31][11450.1075062368][-main-] Warning: modload: failed to
load '/usr/local2/aolserver/bin/nspostgres.so': 'libpq.so.3: cannot open
shared object file: No such file or directory'
[20/Sep/2003:11:51:31][11450.1075062368][-main-] Error: dbdrv: failed to
load driver 'postgres'

I searched for the file:
# locate libpq.so.3
/usr/local/pgsql/lib/libpq.so.3
/usr/local/pgsql/lib/libpq.so.3.0

I am not sure where to go from here.

Thank you for your help.

Thorpe
