Probably I will need to implement the authentication as a filter, but I would like to see digest authentication that does allow a tcl proc to check the password built into AOLserver at some point.
are the passwords used by nsperm stored encrypted the same was as the nscp password? if so you won't be able to use them for digest auth as digest requires the server have access to plaintext passwords.
