Scott,
Not sure if you solved this. I came across similar error conditions, apparently the result of creating web pages that include images with http source urls instead of https ones.
I've removed the images for now (until they can be presented properly.) The error has not returned. There have been no other ssl related changes to the website.

I'm trying to install aolserver and nsopenssl on Redhat 7.3 with OpenSSL 0.9.7d, which was compiled with thread support. Everything seems to run beautifully until I start getting more than one hit at a time, then aolserver crashes and dumps this message in the logs:
Error: nsopenssl: EOF during SSL handshake nsd: md_rand.c:312: ssleay_rand_add: Assertion `md_c[1] == md_count[1]' failed.
I've tried a million different things and nothing seems to help. I'm hoping there's a simple solution that I've missed. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
Sincerely,
Scott
