Aha. Thanks -- couldn't figure out the AOL URL, so I just assumed there
wasn't one. :-P
Back when I was trying to figure out the AOL URL, I played around a bit
... I'd gone to KW: Chat, created a Private chat room and then used
the "IM this window" thing in the window toolbar to send myself the AOL
URL and it gave me:
aol://2719:2-2-AOLserver
I see now that if you use the Buddy List's "Buddy Chat" to invite
yourself to a "private chat" (which is different than the private chat
you create at KW: Chat) and IM yourself the URL, you get:
aol://2719:10-4-AOLserver
I recall changing the "2-2-AOLserver" to "2-4-AOLserver" and
"4-2-AOLserver" and all sorts of permutations but I never arrived at
"10-4-AOLserver" ...
Anyhow, thanks for the pointer, Adam -- I've updated the
http://aolserver.com/chat/ page to include both the AIM and AOL URLs for
the chat now.
