Interesting -- on Solaris it should have dropped a core file.  Unless,
of course, you set "ulimit -c 0" before starting AOLserver, in which
case it won't write a core file.

If you can ensure that "ulimit -c unlimited" is set before starting
AOLserver, then you SHOULD get a corefile.  You may want to look at
"coreadm" on Solaris ...
