I'm getting the following error on OSX when trying to boot up 4.0.9:

[17/Dec/2004:16:42:28][2997.2684396012][-main-] Error: dns: getaddrinfo
failed: No address associated with nodename

I noticed the release logs for 4.0.8 say AOLServer uses this for
platforms that support it. Is this an OSX problem or an AOLServer
config problem?

AOLserver 4.0.8
Updated nscgi module documentation;
fixed bug where connections were not being properly closed when the
HTTP was not parseable;
fixed bug where code ate empty lines before the request was treating
only CR/LF sequences as empty but LF alone was not;
new, automated test harness is under development;
eliminated minor compile-time warning on Win32;
DNS resolution now uses getaddrinfo() and getnameinfo() on platforms
where it is available;
updated Win32 .dsp files to reflect Tcl .lib name change;
fixed bug where [ns_hrefs] failed to parse certain inputs;
inability to resolve nsconf.hostname to set nsconf.address is no longer
fatal, and instead defaults to "0.0.0.0";
added new option to [ns_http wait], -servicetime, so to capture how
long the HTTP request took

thanks,
