Sadly, a lot of those docs are still out of date.

Formally, you should file documentation bugs at SourceForge:

This ensures that we track the bug and it doesn't just get forgotten.
Then, hopefully, someone will update the documentation, etc.
Currently, that "someone" would be me ...
