Jim,

I know, as I was one of the Alpha Developers that ran it on 64 Bit Alpha very early on.... and it is still working better than fantastic.  I believe I ported it around 1995.

How apropos you sent this today January 31, 2005, ten (10) years later, as I am now in the process of taking the AOLserver and porting it to the new 64bit Itanium2 Class Dual CPU system from HP!!

The AOLserver rocks and is truly the BEST Webserver out there!!!! Yeah!!!

Regards to all AOLserver users,
Robert Garron

Excellent!  There are likely other aspects of AOLserver which may need to be updated to ensure it's 64bit clean, e.g., various API's which work with file sizes and offsets in the fastpath and adp.  Otherwise, I'd expect AOLserver is reasonably clean -- it ran on 64bit DEC Alpha machines without a problem years ago.
