Maybe the file permissions of the file you are grabbing, or the path to the file? Sometimes I copy a file into place so I can download it, but forget to set the permissions right. Result is file-not-found. Apache might have the right perms.
I posted about some wacky behavior of adp processing last week. AOLserver seems to change the status when it finds the adp file-not-found file, unless the adp does an ns_return itself.
