Well, I can of course. I did it in my local 8.5 HEAD copy for both
Unix and Windows builds. For the core-8.4-branch I also checked this
in for both platforms. However, I do not have access to Windows so
all windows-related changes are made blindly. If somebody is willing
to check the windows part and verify that it does not misbehave I
will check the HEAD as well (basically, both are same/broken in this
respect).
