I don't think all this falls witin the scope of the functionality
provided by the application server. What you seem to be talking about
is combining sessions with user properties and, in my opinion, that
is the kind of thing that the actual application (like OpenACS)
should implement based on top of the building blocks of what the
server offers. (ie: in-memory sessions and database connections)
