You've said this before but I just don't understand why you say this.
cvs_acls isn't set up for the AOLserver project at SourceForge: anyone
with CVS commit access to the project has commit access to the /entire/
project.  So, you can't be referring to a technologically-implemented
restriction.

The "social policy" around CVS committing is described by the CVS commit
guidelines.  As it states, if you have CVS commit access, you are
welcome to commit changes to any file in the entire CVS repository.

Go ahead.  Merge in your changes.  If it really does refuse to allow you
to commit them, then there's a problem at SourceForge and I'll work with
you to get the necessary information to open a support ticket and have
them resolve it for us.
