While this definitely seems like it would work it doesn't look like
the best way to fix this so I'm going to leave this patch out for
now. I'll try to look into this one some more later.

I applied this one as-is but I agree (with the bug desc) that maybe
there is a better place for this. It's a small change so changing it
later should be simple enough.
Other than that everything looks great and I've applied and committed
all the patches.
