It might be because I have added Tk? Essentially useless, but I extended the nstclsh module to nswish. If that is the reason, it has nothing to do with Tcl or AOLserver. I just added -ltk8.4 to the LIBS var in ns.mak.
This is just a recent change, AOLserver 4.5 ran without this. If it would help to provide a simplified build, I can remove the tk lib. tom jackson On Wednesday 12 September 2007 14:28, Dossy Shiobara wrote: > On 2007.09.12, Tom Jackson <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> wrote: > > Below is my configure and lib information. > > > > ldd -v nsd > > libnsd.so => /web/nsd45/lib/libnsd.so (0x00002b06b680d000) > > libnsthread.so => /web/nsd45/lib/libnsthread.so > > (0x00002b06b698f000) libtcl8.4.so => /web/nsd45/lib/libtcl8.4.so > > (0x00002b06b6a9a000) libtk8.4.so => /web/nsd45/lib/libtk8.4.so > > (0x00002b06b6c5f000) libdl.so.2 => /lib/libdl.so.2 (0x00002b06b6e93000) > > libpthread.so.0 => /lib/libpthread.so.0 (0x00002b06b6f97000) > > libm.so.6 => /lib/libm.so.6 (0x00002b06b70b1000) > > libgcc_s.so.1 => /lib/libgcc_s.so.1 (0x00002b06b7207000) > > libc.so.6 => /lib/libc.so.6 (0x00002b06b7314000) > > libX11.so.6 => /usr/lib64/libX11.so.6 (0x00002b06b754e000) > > /lib64/ld-linux-x86-64.so.2 (0x00002b06b66f1000) > > libXau.so.6 => /usr/lib/libXau.so.6 (0x00002b06b775a000) > > libXdmcp.so.6 => /usr/lib/libXdmcp.so.6 (0x00002b06b785c000) > > Why are X libraries (X11, Xau, Xdmcp) being linked in?
