From: Dean Gaudet <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> To: Bill Plein <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> Subject: Re: general/336: Unable to compile 1.2b8 - dies in compile of httpd_main.c with incompatible pointer types Date: Thu, 10 Apr 1997 19:30:07 -0700 (PDT) Hi Bill, Try removing "#define HAVE_SHMGET" from conf.h in the LINUX section. I don't know about you, but I find the libc/kernel differences between linux-alpha and linux-i86 annoying. It looks like the alpha port doesn't support shared memory. Could you send me the output of "uname -a" on your system? I'd like to add a check for this to the Configure script.
