I tried this and it doesn't make a difference.  It works in b8 with or
without the PT; it doesn't work in b10 at all.

Note that this also works in b6,7,8 without the PT option.

Sorry it took me so long to respond.  Note that I built b8 and 10
with the same config files and compiler flags.
