From: "Tyler J. Allison" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> To: Dean Gaudet <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> Subject: Re: mod_cgi/918: if not using suexec, apache forces user to use server gid/uid settings Date: Mon, 28 Jul 1997 13:39:46 -0700 It's starting to look like a use error on our side. We have several web admins and one of them had been messing with uid/gid settings on some of the cgi-bin scripts when installing our wrapper. When the server that did not have the wrapper installed tried to execute the scripts it obviously failed. Please close out the bug report. I apologize for wasting your time, but encouraged to see the quick response time and informative discussion. -Tyler .-- --. | Tyler Allison | Sterling Software | Voice: (415) 604-6629 | | Network Engineer I | M/S 258-6 | Fax: (415) 604-4377 | | LAN/Security Group | NASA Ames Research Center +-----------------------+ | NAS Facility | Moffett Field, CA 94035 | [EMAIL PROTECTED] | `-- --'
