Synopsis: A space in an HTTP/1.0 file request State-Changed-From-To: open-closed State-Changed-By: marc State-Changed-When: Thu Apr 30 22:23:16 PDT 1998 State-Changed-Why: Any URL with a space in it is invalid. Navigator is broken for sending such things; it should encode spaces into %20.
Apache treats the space as the end of the request URL, and what comes after as the protocol. That is perfectly valid because a client must not make requests in the form that Navigator is.
