I've just turned on GNATS' auto-acknowledge flag, which causes it to send
a message to the originator (as we've been claiming it did for a long
time, even though it didn't).  The ack message looks like this:

From: [EMAIL PROTECTED]
Subject: Re: test/2311: Testing auto-acknowledge
Reply-To: [EMAIL PROTECTED], [EMAIL PROTECTED]
In-Reply-To: Your message of 28 May 1998 18:58:18 -0000
        <[EMAIL PROTECTED]>

Thank you very much for your problem report.
It has the internal identification `test/2311'.
The individual assigned to look at your
report is: apache.

>Responsible:    apache
>Synopsis:       Testing auto-acknowledge
>Arrival-Date:   Thu May 28 12:00:00 PDT 1998

Does anyone have a problem with this feature remaining enabled?
