 That was my guess as well - if I'm correct, though, this has the
 unfortunate side effect of disabling it for everyone right now?  That's a
 bit of a bummer, because this server is getting whacked pretty heavily and
 anything I can do to improve performace is key.  Is it possible to do
 KeepAlive filtering on *any* Via header, or perhaps by remote IP address?
 
 In any case, thanks for the help and the quick response.  Let me know if
