The compilation error still exists on NeXTstep/OpenStep version 4.0. The compilation problem is solved if the following fix ALREADY PRESENT IN mod_status.c is modified to include compiler release 4.0, e.g., "#if (NX_CURRENT_COMPILER_RELEASE == 400)"
