 Oops, here is a further patch that corrects the ftp directory listings
 on some servers.
 
 Problem: if the ftp server actually accepted the -g part of LIST -lag
 then the resulting list would be readable but the links would be
 corrupt.
 
 I took out the -g flag so the lists are consistent.
 
 There should be two patches in this change request. Apply the original
 patch first.
