I usually use -classpath command line option rather than the CLASSPATH env when
invoking java (jdk)
in order to override all defaults. to try to achive that with jserv, i set
following options in
jserv.properties:

wrapper.bin.parameters=-classpath
/usr/java/jdk117_v1a/lib/classes.zip:/usr/java/jsdk/JSDK2.0/lib/jsdk.jar:/usr/local/jserv/lib/Apache-JServ.jar
wrapper.classpath --> no settings

when checking process tree things seem ok:

the -classpath buffer is overwriting the CLASSPATH buffer!
as far as I can tell, jserv runs normal and CLASSPATH is ignored.
