Actually, its more a UI problem in CVS ... when it asked me to add a log entry for the commit, it included all the files that had had to be merged (with or without conflict). Since I had resolved all conflicts in favour of the current version, and the rest had turned out to be "null" patches, when it _actually_ hit the server, only mod_auth_anon.c was changed, not the huge list I saw.
