so if my default is cc, then i could use something like: 'bash-2.02# setenv PATH /usr/local/bin/gcc' (my gcc location) will a command such as this work under 'bash' ? Also, i looked in the 'configure' file and it does not specify any way to change that variable, or with a '--help', does not yield a way to disable this... yeah, this is my first apache install and i'm also not quite the seasoned veteran with this... :) thanks for whatever you can offer! mej!A :wq --- "Victor J.
