Sorry to send this mail directly, but I couldnt find any official

In the docs for the apache server, there is a section dealing with
namebased virtual hosts
http://httpd.apache.org/docs/vhosts/name-based.html
in this it is described that you can use '*' as a server wildcard for
VirtualHosts, I (and others) has found this not to be true, apparently
you need to manually insert all applicable IP's, using '*' will give an
'VirtualHost overlap' error .
