This seems a bit odd... I just upgraded a machine from FP4.0 on apache (as opposed to the patched apache-fp) to Joshie's latest apache-fp RPMs using the DSO module.
Extensions on the upgraded webs seem to work fine from a browser, even on virtualhosts setup with suexec. However, noone can connect from the frontpage client to make changes to websites. Also, I created an entirely new FP web to make sure it wasn't a problem from upgrading, and the same thing happens there. After enabling logging, I get the following in the syslog... Oct 14 09:29:26 server Microsoft FrontPage Server Extensions: http://www.sitename.com - Error #4000b Message: Client closed connection. (userid 99) Oct 14 09:31:54 server Microsoft FrontPage Server Extensions: http://www.sitename.com - Error #4000a Message: An error occurred accessing your FrontPage web files. Authors - if authoring against a web server, please contact the webmaster for this server's site. WebMasters - please see the server's system log for more details. (userid 99) Any ideas what might cause this? I tested a suexec virtualhost and get the same results, but with a different userid. -- Ed Byrne [EMAIL PROTECTED] _______________________________________________ Apache-FP mailing list [EMAIL PROTECTED] http://lists.joshie.com/mailman/listinfo/apache-fp Donations: http://www.amazon.com/paypage/PT5LZITM9L227
