OK, So I started installing following the instructions. (I've actually used
Josh's rpm's with RedHat 6.2).

I've run a "minimal install" of RedHat 8.0. I've only loaded the basic
packages necessary to run RedHat.

I'm now going through the Apache/Frontpage/PHP install and here are the
rpm's I've installed:

db3-3.2.9-4.i386.rpm (from RedHat 7.2 disk)
mm-1.1.3-1.i386.rpm (from RedHat 7.2 disk)

Note: I installed the above because the apache rpm's wouldn't install
because of failed dependencies.

apache-fp-1.3.27-7.i386.rpm
apache-fp-devel-1.3.27-7.i386.rpm
mod_fpse-5.0.2.2634-7.i386.rpm

When I try to install php-4.2.2-8.0.5.i386.rpm I get this error:

error: Failed dependencies:
        httpd-mmn = 20020628 is needed by php-4.2.2-8.0.5
        libgd.so.1.8 is needed by php-4.2.2-8.0.5

My questions are:

In the instructions (from the web site) it said that the db3 rpm was need in
by 7.3 does that mean 7.3 or greater and did I load the proper rpms (db3 &
mm) to take care of that requirement?

Am I trying to load the wrong version of PHP

Thanks for the help.

Vilmos
