I tried what you posted below and it worked for us. Then we started playing around
with different things, to no avail.
But then we found that if you leave off all options, just 'SendMailCommand:/usr/sbin/sendmail', it will work fine.

Looks like I've discovered a workaround for this ongoing issue.
This evening I modified the SendMailCommand entry in my frontpage.cnf to read:
SendMailCommand:/usr/sbin/sendmail [EMAIL PROTECTED]
and this appears to have eliminated the errors. When the target e-mail address is hardcoded into the SendMailCommand variable, the data is submitted and my confirmation form appears as expected. It appears as if on my installation at least, the fpexe binary is having a problem translating the "%r" that's set in the SendMailCommand variable.
