Just a note and a solution...

If you install Frontpage Extensions on Apache 2.0.4x and then upgrade to 2.0.50 you need to do the permissions setting on /var/log/httpd, edit the error file and re-run the frontpage install script so that it rebuilds the mod. Otherwise you can get an error saying PROPFIND method is not supported.

I had this happen to me and I was poking around trying to figure out why the extensions were not working after yum updated Apache. I noticed that /var/log/httpd got reset so it wasn't 755 any more. Further searching found the /var/www/error/HTTP_UNAUTHORIZED.html.var was a new file because there was now an HTTP_UNAUTHORIZED.html.var.rpmsave. I fixed those and found still it would not work. So I re-ran the install script so the module would re-build and all was fine.

Hope this helps.
