I agree with both points of view here. Relying on PMCs to plug a conference 
with 2-5 talks of interest to them has had little success. There is a reason 
for this.

Moving forwards the event will have more content for some audiences.

It would be good to find better ways of reaching our dev/user communities. But 
we can't spam project lists for foundation activities.
