The Tomcat community would like to run a dedicated Tomcat Conference at / alongside ApacheCon. The details are subject to further discussion but the general idea is: - an element of separate branding (could be as simple as a separate sign-up page and a Tomcat logo on attendees' badges) - logistically I'm thinking of it as a dedicated track (so attendees could move between the Tomcat conference/track and other ApacheCon sessions as they wished) - the Tomcat community would select the content The Tomcat community has started to gather ideas for content: https://lists.apache.org/thread.html/316d2b5bbe511f73bd0bdce2857610da32ec3e8625ae54f4dbaefc90@%3Cusers.tomcat.apache.org%3E >From the discussion so far, I think there are plenty of ideas (and people able to present them) to put together a program that would be attractive to the Tomcat community.
