Hi, I just downloaded and compiled 1.0 beta on an ubuntu server. Had some problems due to missing packages and stupidity. Maybe the following info will save others some time.
Download the git master and not the 1.0b1 branch. Make sure you have the following packages installed: autoconf, build-essentials, gcc, g++, make, libstdc++6, zip libmozjs-dev is definitly not needed! Running the ./build script did then the trick for me. Thanks paraboul on irc for helping me out.
