Hi there, i have a encoding problem with APE. since i am from germany and most of the visitors of the planned website will be german, correct display of characters like ä,ü,ö or ß is essential.
first of all: APE is a great thing. everythings works just fine except the encoding. my test setup: i am logged in in the channel in mIRC (or any other irc client) AND in my browser running the TCPsocket. the website is using the tcpsocket demo. some minor modifications. so if i type something with german characters in the browser it is displayed just fine in mIRC. but if i type something in mIRC the characters become messed up in the browser.
