I'll share the response here:

    If you just want to try HTTPS support with APE JSF, edit Source/
Core/Transport/Transport.longPolling.js

    Find
    "url: 'http://' + this.ape.options.frequency + '.' +
this.ape.options.server + '/'+this.ape.options.transport
+'/?'," (arround line 19) and replace http by https.

    This feature has never been tested, so i can't garantee you it
will work.
