We've been used Tsung to benchmark APE, but we did not released the files
used to do it. Maybe we'll find some time to propose it to the public
someday.

Otherwise, Anthony is currently developing a php 5.3 class that would handle
scenarios of benches for APE. I hope he will be able to release it soon.

You can make some apache bench just to test the simple load but it will not
be representative, since you will not be able to simulate the AJAX requests
your users will do.
