Hi, there are some know bugs in APE 1.0 that can make it segfault. I suggest you to upgrade to git version. If you still experience some crash, try to launch APE with gdb (http://www.ape-project.org/wiki/index.php/How_to_debug_APE_segfault) and send us the results.
