I was wondering if its possible to use APE with IP addresses instead
of DNS names?

I am assuming the reason why you cant is due to the restricted number
of connections a web browser allows.

I am working on a project for school. I know each client that connects
to the APE server will have only one browser open at a time because it
is on an embedded device. So my problem is kind of the opposite of the
normal case... My server address my change, which is why I cant use a
DNS name, but I know each client will only have 1 browser window
connected to the APE server. Also I cant use a Dynamic DNS service
because there is a good chance the server may never be connected to
the internet.

Is there a way to solve my problem? or a way to change the way it
functions?

Thanks for any help you can be!
