Hi, I am tying to install ape-server from the deb package on ubuntu 10.04 and am getting the error for dependency on libmysqlclient15off . I see that libmysqlclient15off is not available for ubuntu 10.04 using apt-get .. someone else had also posted this query here .. http://groups.google.com/group/ape-project/browse_thread/thread/bdc0cc8c3d36afbe/76ed222c57500b0b?show_docid=76ed222c57500b0b so i downloaded the .deb package for the ubuntu karmic koala version and it is also showing some error while installation. I checked the synaptic package manager and it shows that libmysqlclient16 is already installed. Do I need to uninstall version 16 and then install the 15off version ? There is one answer in the above thread which says that ape will work with libmysqlclient16 if force installed. tried that too but no luck (actually this throws some error regarding libspidermonkey) . .is there any other way to do this ?
