thanks wes for answering. yes you are right "we're certainly not at the completeness level of PHP." but my first question still remains unanswered "where these modules should be kept physically to work?" as far as I know APE is shipped with spider monkey which I have no information on how it is configured to run JS files in diffrent directory?! and I assume that spidermonkey does provide basic I/O methods for files am i right?
