Hi, I installed APE from scratch on a new Ubuntu 64 bits system.
As Mysql did not seem to be installed with the package, I had to compile APE from source and follow the procedure from http://groups.google.com/group/ape-project/browse_thread/thread/bffb5bc823640bf3/9d61702c2df0125a?lnk=gst&q=mysql+compile+2011+cd+mysac#9d61702c2df0125a I believe that the process has worked fine. However, when I launched my aped, the program never returned anything from my APE.mysql call: var sql = new Ape.MySQL(ip + ":3306", user, password, database); What could be wrong? When I had problems in the past with Mysql I always got an error. But here nothing, onConnect callback is never called either. But you have already guessed that.
