scgi is capable to bind an server aplication/daemon to an url,
(www.myserver.com/ape/1)
i have an daemon allready running on my server - verry fast and
stable,
mostly all corporate server Aplications uses SSL tooday
its a verry complicated case if you want use ape on SSL (stunnel only
ver 2.1 forwading rules in .enabled and so on) wildcard certificate
costs 250€!
if ape would be capable of running in scgi url mode it would be
peanuts :
/etc/lighttpd/conf-enabled:
scgi.server = (
"/ape/" =>
((
"host" => "0.0.0.0",
"port" => 6969,
"check-local" => "disable",
)),
)
----------------------------------------------
and you are ready to go with : www.myserver.com/ape/
ssl would cost no penny because no need for subdomain.
----------------------------------------------
the main problem is there is a need to change ferequency controll from
x.ape.server.com ->> server.com/ape/x
could someone help me with this?
