Not really. APE is not a general purpose web server -- you can't serve up, say, web pages, with it. Apache is not a stateful application engine. "They both speak http" is not a similarity, any more than saying that gas wells are like cows because they both emit methane. If you can enunciate what benefits you expect to get from APR in APE, however, maybe I can suggest alternative methods to achieve them. Wes -- Wesley W.
