Hi, I am again opening a new message on this subject.
Mysql gives not answer, no connect, nor any error when connecting to it on Ubuntu 64 bits. The problem has been seen by a few users already and has been going on for two months at least. I am now renting a dedicated server on Ubuntu 64 bits and we have had to leave APE on a separate "mini-cloud" dev server (32 bits) because it does not work with Mysql on our dedicated server. Leaving APE on the dev server is not really an option. It will not stand a lot of load, is not very reliable and has a new IP everytime it is shut down. Which means I have to update the DNS for the ape.*.com every time. Has anybody found a solution to make it work? May I ask again if the APE team has some time to look at this problem? At least one user left APE because of it, and I suspect he will not be the only one. Thanks for your understanding. Any info appreciated. Nicolas. PS: on a positive note, I have not seen any crash of APE in the last 6 weeks. That is brilliant.
