Hi Tyler, I am afraid I can't answer your question. A very interesting one indeed. There must a way to make it work, but I don't know how. I'd be curious to know it.
I have a question for you. You mention that your users would rather have a native app than a web app. What is their reasoning behind that statement? I am developing a web app that works on the Iphone, so am very interested in knowing about the psychology of users. As far as functionalities are concerned, with a few exceptions, I believe that a web app can do almost the same things as a native app. I look forward to reading you on this issue.
