I further debugged this issue and found that for some clients, the disconnect event is being fired for no reason. I set up a packet sniffer and could see that the server was not sending the disconnect message. I never figured out the root cause of this problem but I finally just started ignoring the disconnect event on the client side and everything worked fine. I was only able to duplicate this issue on a client with IE but I am not sure if it is an IE specific issue.

I have used most of the Ape features for the RoundOx website I created. In the RoundOx game, I put clients on multiple game channels. I have a python server that sends and receives data through the Ape server socket. I use the server side MySql. In general Ape has worked very well for me. If you want to see it in action, check out my website: http://www.roundox.com/

I've reported this before, here:
http://groups.google.com/group/ape-project/browse_thread/thread/8d536bca44106a9b

What happens is one of the CHECKs doesn't respond properly and
invalidates the session. All browsers.

I am not sure if there is any browser dependency. I know I have seen it on Firefox and I believe I have seen it on IE also. It happens frequently
enough that I would expect others might have seen this issue also.
